At the age of twenty, Aprilynne received her B.A. in Creative Writing from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. Before her literary debut, she was employed as a waitress, a restaurant manager, a slush-pile reader, an editor, a childbirth educator, and a doula. She currently works as the Senior Content Writer for Swoogo. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys running, singing, acting, and–of course–reading. Aprilynne lives in Satellite Beach, Florida with her husband, their four children, and her first true love: the ocean.
